Broadcast your music

Start your own RADIO STATION

Are you a fan of radio shows and just can't get enough of them? Have you always dreamt of taking part in a radio show or starting up your own radio station? Then your dream is came true.

About:

Spreaker is a social radio network that's growing especially popular with people who use smart phones. Spreaker is essentially an application available for the Web and smart phones (both iOs and Android devices) that lets people create and share audio podcasts, either live or pre-recorded.

Its toolkit includes an online audio mixing dashboard, large library of music (4,000 tracks) and natural sounds. Live call-ins are made possible through integration with Skype.
Some people consider Spreaker Internet radio because the app lets you broadcast audio live online.
Indeed, you may find more music shows than talk shows on Spreaker's social radio network, though it hosts plenty of online conversations and monologues. Its tools make it easy to mix music, so Spreaker really speaks to the inner DJ in many people.
Spreaker ("Talk to the world" is its tagline) is designed to turn podcasting into more of a social event by offering networking features such as profiles and friend connections. You can follow the people whose podcasts you enjoy, and that makes it easier for people to share music and shows. The app also connects to both Twitter and Facebook, just in case you want to zap an audio update to all your pals on those social networks.

Signing Up for Spreaker:
You can sign up by creating an account of your own or by signing in with your existing account info from Facebook, Twitter or Google. You only need headphones and a microphone (you can use the one built into your phone or computer) to get going.
Spreaker's software offers a Web-based DeeJay console that lets you mix various sounds, including voice-overs, music, natural sound and other sound effects. Normally, you'd need expensive sound equipment to do such mixing, but Spreakr aims to simplify audio editing and mixing through its online mixing console.
Spreaker also offers a mini-app or "player widget" for embedding your Spreaker podcasts on other websites and social networks, so people can click to listen to your Spreakr shows from other locations besides Spreaker.com. Post the Spreaker widget on your Facebook wall, for example, and all your Facebook friends will be able to hear your podcasts.

Spreaker's Free and Subscription Plans for Social Radio:
Spreaker offers a variety of free and pro user plans. You pay nothing for the free, ad-supported accounts, while the three pro versions cost different rates based on the features and volume of recordings you want. All offer the same sound quality and unlimited bandwidth for the host and their listeners.
In addition to annual pricing listed below, higher monthly subscriptions rates are available.
Here's a summary of Spreaker accounts and pricing:

  • Free Speech Accounts--Spreaker calls its ad-supported accounts "Free Speech" subscriptions and caps total audio storage at up to 20 hours with those accounts. Once a user reaches 20 hours of recorded audio, they have to delete some of their recorded audio if they want to record more. Ads appear on profile pages and the pages displaying each show.In addition, free accounts limit each live session to 30 minutes, meaning if you use Spreaker to broadcast and record, you'll have to stop at 30 minutes for each session. (If you record on your own and upload the file to Spreaker, podcasts can be longer, but they won't be broadcast live.)
  • On-Air Talent--This ad-free subscription account costs $39 a year and expands the single-session broadcasting limit to 45 minutes. Audio storage also expands and is limited to 100 hours. The DJ Dashboard is enabled to work with external audio tools, too.
  • Broadcaster--Pay $199 per year, and your single-session limit expands to three hours with this ad-free account. The storage limit jumps to 500 hours. Advanced audience metric tools are made available, too.
  • Anchorman--Pay $499 per year and your single-session limit expands to five hours with this ad-free account. The storage limit jumps to 1,500 hours. This level also offers a custom pre-roll commercial for your Spreaker shows.
