iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C, the rumoured next-generation iPhone and cheaper iPhone respectively, are expected to be unveiled on September 10. As the date approaches closer, we're seeing a new leak almost every day.

While the next generation iPhone, the iPhone 5S has made several appearances, a new hands-on video offers a good look at the Gold/ Champagne colour variant of the phone, which has been recently making headlines. The video, posted by AppAdvice also features the Blue coloured variant of the much talked-about low-cost iPhone or iPhone 5C.

The video features the back panel of the iPhone 5S in Gold colour, revealing a much subtle Champagne colour. It compares the iPhone 5S shell to the Black/ Slate and White/ Silver coloured iPhone 5 in the videos. The iPhone 5S is almost identical to the iPhone 5 with the only physical difference being the pill shaped dual-LED camera flash. The Gold colour iPhone features White strips at the top and bottom, similar to the Silver iPhone. The phone sports Gold colour at the side edges and at the bottom, as well, in line with previous leaks. The iPhone branding on the iPhone 5S also features thinner fonts compared to the branding on the iPhone 5.

 The Blue back panel of the iPhone 5C looks similar to the phones that have appeared in previous leaks. It's almost the same size as that of the iPhone 5 except that it's a little thicker due to its polycarbonate build. It features a Black coloured Apple logo at the back.
Just a day back, alleged pictures of a new Graphite or Grey coloured variant of the iPhone 5S and some of its components had also appeared online, courtesy Sonny Dickson.

The iPhone 5S is expected to come with a brand new Apple chip, the A7, alongside 1GB of LPDDR3 RAM, retaining the form factor of the iPhone 5. A 128GB storage variant of the phone has also been rumoured. The iPhone 5S is likely to come with a larger f2.0 aperture compared to the iPhone 5, that comes with f2.4 aperture. It's also likely to sport a fingerprint reader.

The low-cost iPhone or iPhone 5C has leaked several times. Alleged pictures of the iPhone 5C have revealed a plastic polycarbonate body back panel in White, Blue, Red, Yellow and Green colours, a round camera lens and LED flash, Apple logo and iPhone branding. However, we've not heard much about the specifications of the phone till now.

Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 5S along with the iPhone 5C, the cheaper version of the iPhone, on September 10 at an event in San Francisco.

How to delete registry errors.

I know that all of you use PC and fed of the errors which antivirus also cannot remove so you can yourself manually remove the registry errors by yourself . Just follow these simple steps.

1    Press "Start," "Control Panel" and "System." Choose the "System Restore" tab and click "OK."
         The system restore window appears. Enter "restore point before registry edit" for the Restore Point   Description field. Click "Create" to make your restore point.
      
     2   Locate the full path name for the item you want to remove. The most advanced malware (viruses,browser hijackers, trojans, spyware and adware) hide within the registry. Your virus protection or anti-spyware program will provide the malware path for the item it can't remove.
      
     3   Choose "Start" and "Run." Type "regedit" in the pop up window. Select "File" and "Export" and save your current registry information. Select "Edit" and "Find" to search for the malware path.

  4    Right click and select "Modify" to review the registry file. Check the registry entry to see it matches your malware information. Right click and select "Delete" to remove the file. Only delete one file at a time.
      
     5   Reboot your PC. Test all software and hardware. Make sure that everything works before creating a new system restore point. Return to the registry editor and delete the next malicious pathway

INTEL HASHWELL

Intel always makes two claims when launching a new line of mobile processors: better performance, and better battery life. Traditionally, performance has taken precedence over battery life, but the company’s message was different with Haswell. We were promised the best improvement in battery life ever delivered by a new architecture, with some systems seeing up to 50 percent better endurance.

Claims are only that, however, and are often optimistic. Now that we’ve reviewed a handful of Haswell-powered systems, with both dual-core and quad-core processors, we’re going to take a closer look at just how much the new 4th-gen parts outpace their predecessors. Has Intel delivered, or was it all just marketing hype?

 

 

Apples to apples

Though we’ve now had a solid array of Haswell laptops to test, there is one particular systems that stands out as a great benchmark: Acer’s Aspire M5 Touch. What makes the M5 a benchmark is its consistency. Processor aside, the updated model we received for review with a 4th-gen Core i5 processor is almost identical to the older version with a 3rd-gen Core inside.

So, what did Intel’s latest and greatest do for endurance? Take a look at this handy graph.

As a reminder, we use three tests to judge battery life. The first test is the Battery Eater test, which is a load benchmark designed to eat through battery life quickly. The second test is Peacekeeper, which is a Web browsing benchmark. And the third test we do is the Reader’s Test, which is a near-idle test that opens and scrolls through a text document.

Now, with these benchmarks in mind, the graph above shows some interesting results. In our Battery Eater load we see that the new Haswell-powered M5 actually goes flat more quickly than the older Ivy Bridge laptop. The situation reverses in Peacekeeper, however, where the new M5 has a 40-minute advantage. And when we look at the Reader’s Test, we see the gap grow to over 3.5 hours.

Clearly, the new model has better battery life overall, but not in every situation. Is this true of other Haswell laptops?

Today i am gonna tell you why is your pen drive shows a folder empty while properties shows its have a large capacity. There can be some possibility like your pendrive is damaged, antivirus is outdated, some damaged registry files in windows.

and many of you have also tried of enabling the show hidden files by going to the folder options but that have not worked so try this.

Go to start>run>cmd ( to run command prompt)

type this command in command prompt without the qoutes "attrib -h -r -s /s /d x:\*.*"
(Remember to replace the 'x' in the command with your Pen drive /DVD drive alphabet)

Press enter and you are good to go...

if after this it is unable to show the files in your folder then your DVD/pendrive may be damaged.....

Google's chromecast

Three years ago, Google was where you turned to look up a recipe. To check your e-mail. To chat with your friends when you were supposed to be working.

But in the tech equivalent of a blink of the eye, things today are much different. Throughout the last year, Google has released a string of incredible hardware products, not just a bunch of virtual services you use through another company's device.

Google really kicked it into gear in July 2012 with the Nexus 7, its first-ever tablet, that was priced at just $199. Reviewers went nuts. It wasn't just a great tablet because it was so cheap, it was simply a great tablet. Even the iPad mini, which came out a few months later and sold for $130 more, wasn't as good.

Then came another string of winners: The Nexus 4 smartphone, which you can buy unlocked and without a contract for just $299. The Chromebook Pixel, a beautiful laptop with a stunning high-resolution touchscreen. And more recently, the Chromecast, a dongle that plugs directly into your TV and lets you beam video from your Android device, iPhone or iPad.

And finally there's the Moto X, a new smartphone from Google-owned Motorola that's one of the most accessible and easy to use Android phones I've ever tested.

As Apple keeps its head down and works on iterative (but great) updates to its iPhone and iPad line, and as Microsoft struggles to find a way to make Windows 8 devices like its Surface tablet resonate with the public, Google is releasing some of the most interesting and innovative hardware we've seen recently.

As a high-level executive at a very large tech company recently told me, no company can hope to be successful these days unless it can offer an ecosystem of software, services, and great devices to run them all on. Yes, that's the Apple model, but it's a model that's been proven to be a hit with consumers in the new mobile computing era.

 

And Google, a company that most people still associate with Gmail and Web searches, has been crushing it in both respects. It's always done well with the data, apps, and services part of things, but stringing all that together with affordable, high-quality hardware is a new and exciting trend for the company.

In some ways, Google has done a better job at this than Apple. For example, unlike the Apple TV, which requires you to have an iPhone, iPad, or Mac to beam video, the new Chromecast will work with any major laptop, smartphone, or tablet no matter who makes it. And it does it all for a very reasonable $35, or $64 less than Apple's product. There's massive potential here for Google to build TV-watching ecosystem built around the device.

 

Apple may make great hardware, but it's biggest challenge is still making reliable software and services. (Remember the Apple Maps debacle from last year?) Meanwhile, Google is already a pro at such services, and it's packaging them along with great devices that are affordable and appeal to average users, not just the tech elite.

To endure in the cutthroat tech world, a company can't just rely on doing one thing well. It has to push forward, experiment, and get messy. In the last year, Google has proved it can do all that -- and make some quality gadgets at the same time.

 

Xbox One's Game DVR function will require Xbox Live Gold membership

Game DVR, or the ability to record and upload your screen's gameplay footage to streaming sites and social networks, is a fancy next-gen feature being flouted by both Microsoft and Sony for their respective upcoming consoles. Microsoft confirmed Wednesday that its recording function will be restricted to those who purchase its Xbox Live Gold membership, which is also required to stream Netflix and play online multiplayer.

This can be seen as both good and bad news depending on your current stance on Xbox Live Gold, which costs $60 annually. Microsoft has long taken heat from users who find it unnecessarily expensive to be able to enjoy all the features of a game, as well as to do something as simple as stream a Netflix account that is being paid for separately. This is especially true considering Sony's PlayStation 3 can access its games' online multiplayer free of charge.

  
 Though if you've spent years shying away from a Gold membership because it simply didn't offer enough bang for the buck, this news might be a reason to fully fork over the $60 fee to enjoy the console's more celebrated features. Xbox Gold members will also get access to Microsoft's new SmartMatch system -- which will weed out abusive and disruptive players on top of ironing out some of the more frustrating features of online matchmaking like unbalanced teams and wait times -- and the console's TiVo-like OneGuide system for entertainment curation. 

 


And after all, Sony has already confirmed that the PlayStation 4's online multiplayer will require the $50 annual PlayStation Plus membership, so Xbox's move here could just be the standard if Sony decides to similarly restrict its game DVR functionality.

As for the differences in the two next-gen consoles' recording feature, Sony's is currently more capable. The company clarified last month that the PS4 would be capable of continuously recording up to 15 minutes of gameplay, while the Xbox One will only record five minutes.

When asked by Game Informer's Mike Futter whether or the Xbox One would be capable of recording future footage, as in letting a player preemptively record the following five minutes instead of having to search back and select a clip, Microsoft was tight-lipped, expressing that more information will soon be revealed.
